Galería Enlace Gallery in Lima
San Isidro · Contemporary programme
Editorial Profile
Located in San Isidro, Galería Enlace is a commercial contemporary art gallery whose program sits at the intersection of contemporary art in Lima and a deliberately international roster. It brings together Peruvian and foreign artists — among them Juan José Barboza-Gubo, Melissa Dupont, Marc Badia, Jane Yang-D'Haene, Devin Farrand, Chris Hood and Seleka Muñoz — and resists organizing itself around a single discipline. Its exhibitions move between painting, ceramics, sculpture, installation and materially driven abstraction, with recurring attention to perception, surface, memory and the way an object negotiates the space around it. Shows such as Short Stories by Jane Yang-D'Haene, Reverse & Reflection with Chris Hood and Devin Farrand, Buenaventura by Seleka Muñoz, and La piedra que se desprendió de la montaña by Marc Badia point to a curatorial preference for practices in which formal research stays anchored to narrative, material or conceptual stakes rather than pursued for its own sake.
Within the wider geography of galleries in Lima, its San Isidro address places the gallery in one of the city's principal commercial and financial districts, set apart from yet in dialogue with the denser gallery clusters of Barranco and Miraflores. This positions Enlace less as an experimental or artist-run initiative and more as a collector-facing commercial gallery that still plays an active part in circulating contemporary practice between Peru, the rest of Latin America, Europe and the United States. That transnational orientation is borne out by its fair activity, with participations listed at Pinta Lima 2026, CAN 2026, UVNT 2025 and Pinta PArC Lima 2024 — a calendar that addresses both a local Lima audience and the broader networks through which contemporary art now circulates.
