Galeria Posibilă Gallery in Bucharest

Curated by David Komary, the exhibition centers on Popescu’s long-term project about deportations from Bessarabia to Siberia, using survivor interviews transformed into stop-motion animations to address memory, testimony, and historical violence.

Curated by Anca Verona Mihuleț, the exhibition brings together artists from the gallery’s program around time, childhood, memory, recontextualization, and the ways recurring subjects can generate renewed visual and conceptual readings.

A solo project investigating how social and political histories are inscribed in Bucharest’s urban landscape, structured through the fictional journey of an interwar photographer arriving in the city in 2025.
